Premier Punt Betting Site to Close

Premier Punt LogoContinuing what seems to be a worrying recent trend, online betting company Premier Punt is closing down their site.

The news comes after a number of other firms have run into difficulty in recent weeks, following the insolvency of MoPlay, license suspension for Matchbook and the loss of sponsorship for SportPesa.

A message on the website reads:

“We regret to inform you that we are closing down and ante-post bets will be void and refunded to your account. There will be limited functionality on the site but you can still withdraw your balance. Customer service will be provided between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Please, allow extra time to process withdrawal during this process.”

Whilst the news will be met with disappointment from Premier Punt customers, they are still able to make a withdrawal of their current balance although any ante post wagers for the upcoming Cheltenham Festival and Aintree Grand National will not be honoured.

A similar message can also be found on sister site Bet Sid, with both companies licensed under Incentive Group Limited who are based in Edinburgh.
