There’s good news for players at Entain’s diverse array of online casinos – you’re set to see a whole raft of new games heading your way in the coming months.
The operator, which owns Party Casino, Gala Casino, Casino Club and a whole host of other brands, have promised to double their investment in its own in-house game studios in order to meet the increased production.
And that will mean that the number of people employed by Entain in a development role will increase to 300, with the new members of staff employed at their facilities in England, Italy and India.
In amongst the new content, the firm plans to develop their own exclusive free-to-play slots, each of which will feature real money prizes. Entain also plans to deliver new products and ‘experiences’ for their customers in all countries – including the developing market in the USA.
Not ones to shy away from innovation, the gambling giant has confirmed they have been tinkering around with emergent technologies, and in addition to developments on their use of AR it has been revealed that Entain’s first VR product, a sports club, will be launched this winter. The hope is that casino content boosted by virtual reality will follow thereafter.
Fans of F1 can rejoice too, as the recent hook up between the Party brands that Entain operates and Formula One will manifest itself in a selection of new casino game releases – some of which are scheduled for release later in 2021.
The operator’s chief executive, Jette Nygaard-Andersen, is excited about players getting their hands on their latest releases.
“We love giving our customers great experiences and exciting entertainment as that is the bedrock of what we do,” she said. “Increasing our investment across all three of our in-house games studios will provide more of that for our customers across all our global brands.
“By widening our offer with new and exclusive games, such as free-to-play tournaments, we give existing and new customers more reasons to use our products. This not only helps to grow our business but brings fresh insight, so we can further improve the offer for our customers.”
The American Dream
Players in the UK and across Europe will be amongst the first to enjoy exclusive new games at Entain’s brands.
Over in the USA, the operator is enjoying a real growth period thanks to its partnership with BetMGM, the land-based and online casino outfit. Entain’s Win Studios in India are working on a raft of new titles exclusively for BetMGM, and those will include slots featuring some unique in-game features and bonuses as well as traditional table games.
CR Games, another Entain-signed development team, have been hard at work developing content for a UK audience, while in the Baltic region the acquisition of Enlabs will lead to more options when it comes to producing titles targeted specifically at that market.
Buying in games, and creating their own exclusively in-house, is the direction that gaming director Colin Cole-Johnson believes Entain will continue to go in successfully. “Our priority is always to create exciting, engaging products that give our customers choice,” he commented.
“Not only does this enhance the experience for the millions of people who enjoy our products, but is an important driver of Entain’s growth.
“These exclusive, innovative, and tailored games are really valued by our customers. Developing more of our own games means we have complete control over what goes into them, not just in giving our customers a great experience, but also keeping them safe.”
