The UK Gambling Commission have suspended the license of EveryMatrix Software Limited as of Thursday 5th September, citing compliance violations relating to their ‘customer interaction framework’.
One white label gambling site powered by EveryMatrix has cited “issues with handling possible addictive players” as the cause of the suspension.
The suspension takes place with immediate effect, with access to customers accounts only permitted to facilitate the withdrawal of funds. Ante post bets placed prior to the suspension will stand and be settled as normal, but no further sports or casino wagers will be permitted until the suspension is lifted.
This will affect all sites that operate under the EveryMatrix License which includes brands such as Jetbull, Bookee, PlayFrank and PWR.Bet among others.
The news comes just months after EveryMatrix sold their flagship brand Jetbull to Swedish operator Amgo iGaming. The €2m deal was completed on the 1st July 2019, with Jetbull’s 600,000 customers continuing to operate on the same platform under the EveryMatrix licenses.
UPDATE: EveryMatrix Withdraws From UK White Label Market
In response to the suspension, EveryMatrix have decided to withdraw from the B2C UK market rather than address the concerns that the UKGC raised. In a press release dated 23rd September 2019 they said that they had been “forced to consider the UK white label business of EveryMatrix to be irreparably damaged” and so are surrendering their license to operate Remote Betting and Casino in the UK.
This decision only affects the customer facing white label side of the business. The B2B EveryMatrix platform will continue to operate as normal in the UK for clients who hold their own remote betting licenses.
